Hyperhidrosis or excessive sweating is a common disorder which can adversely affect your quality of life.  Excessive sweating of the underarms is the most common.  Although certain medical conditions can lead to an increase in sweating, most cases occur in otherwise healthy individuals.

Excessive sweating is embarrassing and can complicate business, social and personal interactions.

Botox injections have the ability to temporarily block the secretion of the chemical that is responsible for "turning on" the body's sweat glands. By blocking, or interrupting, this chemical messenger, Botox "turns off" sweating at the area where it has been injected.
