I have always been nervous about visiting the dentist, who isn’t ? And having not visited one for far longer than I should’ve, and feeling very self conscious about my teeth,  was, to be honest, petrified.

The very thought of the work to be done left me feeling ill, but once  I met Jill and her team, they were very understanding and put me totally at ease.  They understood the reluctance many people have about visiting the dentist and didn’t judge me in any way. Jill set out how much my treatment was going to cost and gave me options as how to pay.

Once I was in the chair, Jill explained everything that she was going to do before she actually did it, explained why she was doing it and let me know of any possible discomfort, which was all it really was, she didn’t ever let me feel pain in any way.

I had quite a bit of work carried out and even requested more, which should tell you how happy I was with how Jill took care of me.

I really couldn’t recommend Jill and her team at Dental Care Dundonald highly enough, and I am more than happy to make my six monthly visits from now on.  Because of them, I certainly won’t feel nervous again.

I can now smile with confidence, thanks to Jill and her team.

I have been with Dental Care Dundonald for almost 30 years and wouldn't consider going anywhere else- even when I moved house. From the minute you walk into the practice, you are met by the most welcoming professional staff. It’s not just one person that has made me want to keep going back for all these years- it is the entire team! They work together like a family and this is evidenced by the very low turnover of staff, meaning you see the same team consistently which adds to the whole experience. The friendly receptionists know everybody by name, when appointments suit patients best and they are always so accommodating when you need to change or make an appointment. The dentists provide the highest standard of quality care for your teeth and gums and actually care about their patients.  The dental hygienists are excellent – I need to see them every 2-3 months and they carry out superb teeth cleaning. And, of course, not forgetting the dental nurses, who always ensure the dentists are fully supported and have all the necessary equipment and information at their fingertips. The treatment and team of staff are first class and you couldn't be in better hands. Everyone makes you feel really at ease and I can honestly say that I am so relaxed when I am sitting in the chair getting my treatment carried out. You simply couldn't wish for a better dental surgery- they are the complete package!

It is always a pleasure to attend an appointment at Dental Care Dundonald. I am delighted that the staff first inform me by text and e mail of my appointment, so I never miss an appointment now!The staff in reception are so welcoming and friendly and I am made to both feel valued as a patient but treated as part of the family. There is always time for a chat and a laughThe dental assistants always welcome me and lead me through , again with a cheery word. It is however when we enter the treatment room that it is so obvious that each assistant is very knowledgeable and well trained.After treatment the reception staff take time to try to work out future appointments which suit my busy schedule.

Dental Care Dundonald is a very special practice.  Professionalism and dedication are at the very centre of the practice – from the high quality care and treatment of the dentists, to the hard work and customer focus of the receptionist and administration team.  Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff.  I have 4 children and often appointments have to change at short notice and staff are always so flexible and accommodating.  The attention to detail of the dentists is excellent and the treatment is always superb 24/7.  Having been a patient at the practice for 18 years I can testify to the consistency of the care and the fact that putting the patient first is embedded in every member of staff.  In addition, there is always  focus on the patients’ general wellbeing and not just emphasis on the teeth.  I cannot rate this practice highly enough.

I have been a patient of this practice for a number of years and have always been impressed by the team’s professionalism and outstanding work.  They always treat everyone with dignity and respect and have a gift for putting people at ease in what can be a very stressful experience.  From personal experience as a child a visit to the Dentist was a much feared “day out” and always a “white knuckle ride” – this impression stayed with me for many years however I can honestly say going along to Dental Care Dundonald either for a check-up, emergency treatment or follow up treatment – dare I say – is an event that never fills me with the apprehension/ dread from the past.  The whole team are dedicated to all they do.  From the minute you walk into the practice to the minute you walk out the door you are always treated with the utmost respect and friendliness from everyone.  Working with the general public comes with many challenges and I have to say this team handles all situations with the utmost efficiency and care and provides a service that goes above and beyond.

I had been a patient of Jill’s for several years when I started to notice that one of my teeth were moving.  Jill had pointed out to me before that I may lose this tooth as it was only a baby tooth with small roots and may not last throughout my adult years.  As I didn’t have an adult tooth to replace it, I would be left with a gap at the bottom which would be noticeable to other people when I spoke.

Understandably I was concerned about this and wasn’t happy to be left with a gap.  Jill discussed all the options with me and after much thought, I decided I wanted to have an implant placed. I was very apprehensive about the treatment but was surprised at how relatively painless it all was.  I did have some bruising of the cheek afterwards but I had already been warned of this so I didn’t mind.

It did take a few months from start to finish but I am now delighted with my new tooth which looks and feels like my old baby tooth.  I’m so glad that I had the implant placed and it was definitely worth the money.

In recent years my two prominent incisor teeth had become more noticeable to me.  I work in a client facing job and first impressions can be important, so I decided to do some research to see if it was possible to straighten them.  After searching online, I found the Cfast treatment, and decided to come in and speak with Jill to see if it would be a suitable option in order to re-align my front teeth.

After a brief consultation with Jill, I decided to proceed and I booked an appointment to fit the braces within 2 weeks.  The procedure was relatively painless and the level of customer care was of the highest quality.  The braces were white and not that noticeable and after just over three months of wearing them, my upper teeth had completely straightened.  I was more than impressed with the results, and unlike before I am more than confident to smile and bare my teeth.   

What impressed me most about this treatment was both the speed in which a permanent change occurred and the increase in quality in the aesthetics of my front teeth.  My friends and colleagues also noted the vast improvements.  For anyone considering this treatment, I would highly recommend it and Jill as she was very professional and approachable throughout the entire process.

I went to see Jill after I had got engaged and decided I wanted my teeth fixed before my wedding, she was recommended to me by a friend. I knew I needed my teeth straightened but I didn't want to wear braces for years so c-fast sounded amazing!! I also needed a veneer as I'd had an abscess in my front tooth that caused it to discolour on me! This is probably what annoyed me most about my teeth especially in photographs, I was so self conscious about it. Jill put me at ease right away and I had the c-fast braces fitted a few weeks later! I couldn't believe how quickly my teeth were moving and when I got them off only 5 months later the result was amazing, I was so pleased (I actually cried when I saw them)!!  I would recommend anyone that's thinking about having c-fast done to go for it, I was worried about the pain but it was absolutely fine!!

I still look at my teeth now and can't believe they're mine and I'm now happy to smile for photos and show them off! It is the best thing I have ever done, I would do it all again in the morning and it's worth every penny!! Thanks again Jill!!!
